About

Cynthia was born in Baltimore, Maryland, and raised most of her childhood in Charlotte, NC. Years of self-discovery lead her to enlist in the United States Air force in June of 1993. Stationed at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, she worked at Wilford Hall Medical Center in the OBGYN clinic and the Cardiac Care Unit in administration.

While in the service, she trained for triathlons with the base team and ran competitively. It was actually at a triathlon in Austin, Texas, when Cynthia received her first massage and the seed was planted.

After her four years in the air force, Cynthia headed to Atlanta, GA to be closer to her parents and nieces. She then attended The New Life Institute of Massage Therapy and graduated in 1999 specializing in NMT Neuromuscular Therapy. Shortly after graduating, she founded The Buckhead Massage Company in October 2000.

She has also trained over a hundred massage therapists through the years and the BMC team has received numerous awards for excellence. Cynthia has combined all of her twenty years of education, travel, work with other therapists, and study under some of the greatest mentors into her work. She has trained in NMT, sports, reflexology, cranial-sacral, Myofacial, Eric Dalton technique, studied in Thailand at TMC Thai Massage School, Certified in EFT and many more modalities.

When she is not working, Cynthia enjoys hiking, walking, networking, dancing, spending time with family, hanging with Buddie the family dog, taking road trips and learning.

She is currently taking applicants for a “Breakthrough to Total Freedom” from the physical and emotional pain of aging module which is scheduled for February 2021. It will be the one and only time there will be a marked down on the price for this one of a kind transformation. And there is not a program out there quite like this one, so please contact us if you are interested and we will set up an over the phone and zoom consultation this week.
